Projects
Research and engineering design work, from hypersonic stability analysis to building flight hardware.
Undergraduate research at Purdue’s Aerospace Sciences Laboratory on how varying wall temperature affects hypersonic boundary layers. Completed and presented a sharp cone transition study; now extending the work to a flared cone, pairing STABL computations with BAM6QT wind tunnel experiments.
Tools: STABL, DPLR2D, PSE-Chem, MATLAB, Tecplot
Leading the aerodynamics team of a student club designing and building a UAV around a pulsejet engine, from conceptual sizing through CAD and CFD analysis.
Skills: Aircraft design, CAD, CFD, team leadership
One year with the Purdue Undergraduate Rocket Propulsion Laboratory designing a turbopump-fed rocket engine. Worked on the injector plate design and served as head of manufacturing for my subteam.
Skills: Propulsion design, design for manufacturing
Industry partnership with Stratolaunch through The Data Mine at Purdue. Condensed several high-level research papers into technical deliverables for Stratolaunch engineers.
Skills: Technical research, technical communication, teamwork
