CV
Seeking: Summer 2027 internship in defense / hypersonics
Citizenship: U.S. citizen, eligible for a security clearance
Education
Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN
B.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Management, and Mathematics, expected December 2027
Research Experience
Undergraduate Researcher, Hypersonic Boundary-Layer Transition
Aerospace Sciences Laboratory, Purdue University (Advisor: Prof. Brandon Chynoweth)
- Investigating how varying wall temperature affects the hypersonic boundary layer as a whole on a flared cone geometry, connecting STABL computations to physical experiments in the BAM6QT
- Completed a study of how varying wall temperature affects boundary-layer transition on a sharp cone; presented at the 2026 Purdue Summer Undergraduate Research Symposium
- Run mean-flow (DPLR2D) and stability (PSE-Chem) analyses in the STABL software suite, and post-process results with MATLAB and Tecplot
- Assistant in the Boeing/AFOSR Mach-6 Quiet Tunnel (BAM6QT), working toward certification for future experiments
Industry Research Partnership: Stratolaunch
The Data Mine, Purdue University
- Analyzed complex research by Purdue faculty and, with two other undergraduates, condensed several high-level research papers into technical deliverables for Stratolaunch employees
Engineering Design Experience
Aerodynamics Lead, Pulsejet UAV
Student club, Purdue University
- Lead the aerodynamics team designing a UAV airframe around a pulsejet engine
- Teach newer undergraduates the workflow from conceptual design to CAD model to CFD analysis
Injector Design and Subteam Manufacturing Head, Turbopump Rocket Engine
Purdue Undergraduate Rocket Propulsion Laboratory (PURPL)
- Worked on the injector plate design for a turbopump-fed rocket engine
- Served as head of manufacturing for the subteam, making sure the design could be built with Purdue’s manufacturing capabilities
Teaching
Undergraduate Tutor, Purdue University
- Tutor undergraduates in subjects ranging from partial differential equations to real analysis
