About Me

Where I’m from

I was born in Waco, Texas in 2006 and mostly grew up in South Bend, IN. I have combined these experiences with my dad’s influence to make me a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Notre Dame. I have an older brother, James, who recently graduated from IU and is preparing to attend medical school. I also have a dog, Mila, who is a Shar-Pei.

What I do when I’m not doing engineering

When I am not doing engineering, I enjoy being active. I spend most mornings in the gym, whether by myself or with friends, to start the day. I played soccer growing up, captaining my high school team, and I enjoy both playing and watching sports.

I am also a big fan of the culinary industry. Growing up, my brother and I taught ourselves to cook, and have since expanded our skills as we have grown up. In high school, I worked for a local Mexican grill as a chef, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Together, my brother and I have made everything, from smoked brisket to homemade nachos with fresh queso and guacamole.

I also like to give back to the community. I spend a few hours per week volunteering at local organizations, specifically the Indiana Veterans’ Home and Natalie’s Second Chance Dog Shelter.

Fun Fact

One fun fact about me is that, despite my intense fear of heights, I love skydiving. I am terrified of looking out the window when I am above the third story, yet I am fond of free-fall from 15,000 feet.
