I spent a year with PURPL working on the design of a turbopump-fed rocket engine.

What I did

  • Contributed to the design of the engine’s injector plate.
  • Served as head of manufacturing for my subteam, making sure our design could actually be built with the manufacturing capabilities available at Purdue and bridging the gap between design intent and what the shop could produce.
